We were looking for a venue in Dundee to host a large business festival.
We are so delighted we took the time to look at the Dundee Science Centre.
The building is bright, airy and quirky and was perfect for our needs.
The Inspire room was great for the speaker sessions it hosted up to 60 people and the technology was perfect for presentations.
We loved using the round room downstairs for a more intimate fireside chat with experts about business and the main area next to the café was perfect for the breakfast and lunch speakers.
The building was perfect, right in the centre of town next to the station and great car parking but the main reason I would thoroughly recommend using the Science Centre for a venue was their incredible staff.
They literally could not do enough for us.
From taking down some of the seating in the speaker area so we could get everyone in, to offering the use of their van to bring down all the stuff we needed to bring they could not have been more accommodating.
The whole experience was seamless, and they all helped making organising one of the biggest business events held in Dundee for a long time so much less stressful. They were a safe pair of hands to work with.
The event was a huge success, due in no small part to the incredible partnership with the Science Centre.
I would urge anyone organising an event for whatever reason to look at the Dundee Science Centre. You won’t be disappointed.
We hosted our member summer social at the Science Centre and what an event it was! So many areas to explore and activities for attendees to enjoy. Having the space to roam freely around the centre gave members the opportunity to network at their own pace. The activities the team at the centre put on brought people together and would be great for future team building activities within our team. We can’t wait to come back!
