Abertay University is conveniently located in the city centre and has an attractive range of conference and meeting facilities, making it ideal for seminars and conferences.
Our main campus on Bell Street is equipped with a wide variety of rooms to suit your needs. We take pride in our state-of-the-art technology and adaptable catering service, designed to support meetings or conferences of any size, from the smallest to those with up to 345 delegates.
Based in Dundee, all of our undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree programmes are designed for the modern world and focus on employability, with the majority of degrees including work placements or professional projects set by businesses. Our portfolio spans business, law, science, engineering, technology, art, games, and social and health sciences, and we facilitate cross-disciplinary learning and engagement to prepare students for real-life work environments.
We are a small, friendly University with around 480 staff and 4,000 students on campus. We view our size as a strength that makes for a close-knit community. On a global level, the University is best known as one of the world’s leading institutions for video game design, having launched the first degree in the discipline in 1997 and contributing to the city of Dundee becoming an international hub for the games industry. We regularly rank highly for teaching quality and satisfaction.
Abertay is currently ranked as Scotland’s top modern university by The Guardian University Guide 2026, the leading Scottish modern for student experience (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026), and the highest-ranked Scottish modern for research intensity in the Complete University Guide 2026. Internationally, The Princeton Review names Abertay the number one school for video game design.
