The 11th WUKF World Karate Champions for all ages was hosted at Dundee Ice Arena, Dundee, Scotland from 13 - 16 July 2023, with teams arriving up to 3-5 days prior to the start of the event.
Welcoming 4470 athletes, officials, coaches and spectators attended the championships from 32 countries, across 5 continents, contributing over *£9,594,630.00 in Direct Economic Benefit (DEB) and £3,761,094.96 in Gross Value Added (GVA).
*This figure has been calculated using the Direct Expenditure Benefit (DEB) rates, recognised by the Scottish Government and used by all the cities, destinations and industries across Scotland.
