p53familyDundee2025 Conference

The p53familyDundee2025 Conference was hosted at the Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland from 10-13 June 2025.

The conference attracted 86 delegates from 23 countries, including the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, India, Japan, Portugal, China, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, and Singapore.

We chose to host the p53familyDundee2025 Conference at the University of Dundee for several strategic, scientific, and practical reasons. The University of Dundee has a strong international reputation in the life sciences, known for its significant contributions to cancer research, molecular biology, and drug discovery.

Notably, it is home to the Molecular Oncology Laboratory, where p53 isoforms were first discovered, making it an ideal scientific and symbolic location for a conference focused on the p53 family.

‘I would like to express my deepest gratitude not only to the Dundee City Region Convention Bureau and my fellow organisers but also to the delegates, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers who brought this event to life. The success of p53Dundee2025 reflects their shared commitment, passion, and dedication to Scientific Truth - truth that enables us to better understand the world we live in and face it with knowledge rather than fear.’

Dr Jean-Christophe Bourdon | Conference Lead
