Launched in 2021, GreenSkies is Loganair’s sustainability initiative, which sets out how the company will achieve its ambitious target of becoming net zero by 2040. One part of the initiative is a small mandatory charge as part of every fare; with funds then invested in internationally accredited carbon offset schemes to take the same amount of carbon out of the atmosphere that each flight produces. While the carbon offsetting programme is the first step, Loganair have also been engaging with leading aerospace and technology companies to ensure we can have the systems we need to achieve our carbon-neutral goal.

Student Accommodation
We are pleased to share that we have secured a number of rooms with several accommodation providers at affordable rates, exclusively for ECS student members. There are four locations all located in the centre of Dundee, most of which offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms and in some cases even kitchen facilities!
How to book
Please complete this form to access these discounted accommodation options: Student accommodation form.
What happens next?
After completing the form, you will receive an email with a link to a specific booking page from which you can pick, choose, and book your accommodation. This page will include crucial information on what is included and available at each accommodation option; so please read this information carefully before making your booking. These emails are sent out manually, so please allow a few days for them to arrive after you have submitted your form.
Why am I asked about active enrollment?
The ECS defines a student as "any person who has been enrolled as a student in a third level institution within 12 months of the registration for the forthcoming conference" - however, in the accommodation booking form there is a question about active enrollment in an educational programme.
This is important: some of the accommodation options are hosted by Dundee University and require you to be an enrolled student at the time of the conference in order to book. But don't worry - there are discounted options available also to those who have completed their studies but still fall under the ECS student criteria.
As a student, do I have to book student accommodation?
No! Of course student members are also welcome to make use of the general allocation of rooms at guaranteed rates with various accommodation providers in and around Dundee, accessible through the standard booking portal.
