About 7th World Bronchiectasis Conference
Dundee is delighted to be hosting the 7th World Bronchiectasis Conference at the Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee.
Dundee is home to V&A Dundee, the first ever design museum built in the UK outside London and hosts major exhibitions, celebrating Scotland’s design heritage. Dundee is 90 minutes away from 90% of the Scottish population and officially Scotland’s sunniest city with 1,523 hours of sunshine per year. Being compact, makes it easy for visitors to navigate and is closer to the countryside than any other Scottish city.
The region, has four world-class academic institutes alongside globally recognised organisations such as NHS Tayside and The James Hutton Institute and a track record of innovation and excellence with a strong reputation for life sciences, health innovation, and biotech.
Dundee is the UK’s first City of Design recognised by UNESCO for its diverse contributions to several fields including medical research, comics, and video games.

The conference is being held at the award winning Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee.
Named after the Earl of Dalhousie, second Chancellor of the University, this was designed by Campbell & Arnott and opened by the Queen in 2007.
